Recipe FAQs

Do I need to chill my glass?

A: I love a good frosty mug! I love to drop my glassware into the freezer for a while before pouring a frozen lemonade.

Can I store leftovers?

I find that is this best served immediately. If you need to save left-overs, pour the remaining liquid into a zip lock bag and freeze flat. Thaw slightly before re-blending. Best if used within 12 months.

What is the best way to extract the juice from a fresh squeezed lemon?

A: You should roll your peeled, whole fruit back and forth on a hard surface with some sugar until it releases enough juices into the bowl below for one serving.

How do I make soft frozen lemonade?

A: Add more frozen fruit or juice to the lemonade mixture.

How many lemons will I need for fresh squeezed lemon juice?

A: About 8 lemons will be enough to make 1 ½ cups fresh squeezed lemon juice for this homemade lemonade.
