Preheat the oven to 375°. Prepare a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Carefully unroll the crescent dough and separate the triangles.
To each triangle, place three slices of pepperoni along the longest end. Top the pepperoni with about half a tablespoon of cheese.
Roll up the crescent from the longest end to the point tucking the dough over the pepperoni and cheese.
Place the crescent onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 11 to 14 minutes or until the crescents are golden brown.
Serve the crescents while warm with pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, you can swap out for alfredo and spinach, for pesto and peppers, or just change the pepperoni for mushrooms and olives. Do what tastes best or make some variety for your party, it's always delicious.
Don't have shredded mozzarella? Use 1/3 of a string cheese (mozzarella cheese sticks) for each roll. up. Try to find whole milk mozzarella string cheese for the best results.
These are best made hot and fresh, don't make them ahead then reheat for dinner or a party.
