bag fun sized Snickers candy

oz.
tub of Cool Whip
3
small Granny Smith apples
or 2 medium/large
Optional toppings:
caramel sauce
such as Smucker's caramel ice cream topping
chopped peanuts

Instructions
Wash the apples and cut into bite sized pieces, place into a mixing bowl.
Cut the Snickers candy into bite sized pieces and put into the bowl with the apples, reserve a handful of pieces to use as a topping.
Pour the full container of Cool Whip into the bowl with the Snickers and apples, mix well to combine.
Put salad into a serving dish and sprinkle with the reserved pieces of Snickers.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for a couple hours.
Drizzle with caramel and top with peanuts if desired right before serving.
Notes
Can this be made ahead of time?
This salad is best served right away or within a couple of hours of making (keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve).
The apples will cause the mixture to get a bit watery if it sits too long, so do not make the night before.
